A pet loving Darlington resident has been named a 2023 Petplan and ADCH Animal Charity Awards finalist within the class Charity Volunteer of the Year
Dog’s Trust volunteer Ailsa Sly is in rivalry for the award, which is an annual celebration of the unimaginable work carried out by animal charities and not-for-profit organisations throughout the UK, Ireland and Channel Islands, in partnership with Association of Dogs and Cat Homes (ADCH).
From animal rescue to rehoming, the awards are a chance to recognise the achievements of those that dedicate their time to help animal welfare, and canopy three classes together with Volunteer of the Year, Team of the Year and Employee of the Year.
This yr’s awards will probably be held on Tuesday, May 16 at The International Conference Centre in Telford the place the finalists will take pleasure in a celebratory dinner and a night of leisure earlier than the winners in every class are introduced.
