The Council’s stray canine service has earnt the transformed RSPCA Gold PawPrint Award for its providers to stray dogs.
Animal Warden Services ship the Council’s stary canine service and work along with the Council as a key companion go assist reunite house owners and their dogs.
The RSPCA’s PawPrint Award scheme celebrates and rewards native authorities and organisations for going above and past to ship the best high quality animal welfare providers.
The PawPrint award covers 5 predominant areas:
- Stray canine providers
- Licensing of actions involving animals
- Contingency/emergency planning
- Housing
- Kennelling
The award has three ranges, bronze, silver and gold. Each stage has completely different and extra changeling standards. This is the second yr the Council has obtained the gold award.
Emily Capps, Assistant Director Environmental and Leisure Services, NNDC, mentioned:
“It’s nice information that the NNDC stray canine service has obtained the RSPCA Gold PawPrint award.
“Animal Warden Services who deliver our stray dog service are key partners and often go above and beyond to ensure that dogs and their owners are reunited, this award is testament to the quality of the service they provide on behalf of the Council.”
