Cats Protection Swale concerns sad appeal after 2 kittens discovered in shoebox at roadside pass away

The kittens, around 2 to 3 weeks old, were gotten by a member of the general public on Monday night.

“With the two kittens confirmed as emergencies, we rushed them down to our emergency vet who did everything they could to save these little ones, but because of the fleas and the lack of warmth, unfortunately both died within hours.”

Cats Protection Swale would not reveal where the kittens were initially discovered.

The charity says cases like this one “happen all too frequently”.
