Two-year-old Wolfie and six-month-old Yugi were handed into the centre from a multi-cat household after their owner ended up being not able to cope.
When the 2 animals got to Newbury Adoption Centre it was found both cats have ‘dry eye’ brought on by insufficient tear production due to a previous neglected infection.

The deputy supervisor, Jenni from the Newbury centre has actually prompted would be owners not to be put out by their eye condition.
Deputy Manager Jenni Warrior says: “Yugi and Wolfie are an incredibly set of cats. They play gladly together and take pleasure in toppling about their pen here at the centre.
“Yugi, although younger, is the more positive of the 2 and likes to motivate Wolfie and periodically lead him into cheerful mischief!
“Wolfie has a more relaxed side and will happily sit on your lap while his brother continues to explore the world around him. They both love to be stroked and a fishing rod toy is their favourite which they take turns to run after and pounce on.”
All that is required to help this otherwise healthy duo is a basic dosage of eye gel in the early morning and prior to bed to keep them comfy and avoid infection.

Jenni included: “They are such enjoyable to have in care and although we attempt to guarantee the centre seems like home, it truly is no replacement for the genuine thing.
“We are keen to find a loving new owner who is not worried by their need for eye drops, we can give all the training you might need plus Yugi and Wolfie tolerate the treatment very well, although Yugi would always prefer to be playing rather than pausing for drops!”
