A cat has been discovered inside a settee at a council waste depot in West Lothian.
Workers at Whitehall Industrial Estate, Bathgate, found the black and white feline on Monday at round 4.30pm when he fell out of an old sofa that was as a result of be discarded.
Scottish SPCA officers revealed the pet is unhurt and so they have launched an enchantment to seek out the animal’s homeowners.
Animal rescue officer, Aileen Maybury, mentioned: “West Lothian council collected some cumbersome uplifts and found a cat inside a settee. When they tipped the lorry the cat fell out of the couch and bumped into the nook of the station.
“He is unhurt after their ordeal and we hope the proprietor of the cat recognises him. The cat isn’t microchipped and the couch was picked up across the Linlithgow space.
“The cat is now within the care of one among our animal rescue and rehoming centres.
