A care home has donated almost £2,500 to a canine charity after falling in love with two dogs they adopted.
Residents and workforce members on the dementia care home, Heathfield Court, in Colyers Lane, Erith, donated the cheque to AA Dog Rescue, after a 12 months of fundraising.
The charity rescues and rehomes abused, deserted, and undesirable dogs.
Residents of the care home took half in a “dog walkathon”, walking two pups the home adopted final 12 months round Heathfield Court’s gardens and the native inexperienced each day all through July.
