Bognor homelessness charity endorsed by Dogs Trust for ‘providing hope’ to homeless folks and their canine companions

Bognor Housing Trust has been endorsed beneath the Dogs Trust Welcoming Dogs scheme which is given to homeslessness providers which ‘go above and beyond’.

The Bognor-based belief, based in 1984, owns and manages three supported housing initiatives for single folks experiencing homelessness within the Arun District.

Staff and residents have seen how being dog-friendly and welcoming canine companions has improved the environment, inspired folks to interact with one another extra and provides an all-round extra homely feeling.

Laura Kottaun, a spokesperson for Bognor Housing Trust, mentioned: “We are delighted to be endorsed by the Dogs Trust under their Welcoming Dogs scheme. “It’s incredibly important that pet-friendly housing is available at every step of someone’s housing pathway, and we’re keen to work with as many homelessness services as possible so that we can help keep people and their pets together.”
