Bloodhound cross Maya for adoption at PACT in Norfolk

Maya was rescued at a 12 months old and introduced over to the UK when her earlier house owners moved right here three years in the past.

But following a change in their private circumstances, the six-year-old bloodhound cross was handed over to PACT Animal Sanctuary in Norfolk.

After struggling in kennels, she was placed in a foster home.

Her foster mother and father stated: “Maya has one of many sweetest natures going.

“She is tremendous affectionate, adores cuddles and can skilfully use her entrance paws to information your hand to her tummy for scratches.

“Maya enjoys lengthy walks however she has a reasonably excessive prey drive so will chase squirrels, rabbits and different small creatures, so can be most secure being allowed off-lead time in an enclosed paddock.

Maya will have to be the one pet within the home, however may stay with “dog-savvy” kids aged 12 plus. 

A spokeswoman at PACT added: “Maya isn’t happier than sat snuggled on the couch or mattress with you having her stomach rubbed or her head scratched.

“She is such a loving canine and would make an incredible companion.”
