Over the previous 15 years, Jeffrey Long has raised £400,000 for charitable causes, and his latest endeavour has raised slightly below £250 for the canine welfare charity.
In September, he launched into the walking problem regardless of present process every day chemotherapy remedy. His mission was to make a distinction within the lives of numerous dogs in want.
Since 2007, Jeffrey has been an ardent fundraiser, and in recognition of his voluntary providers, he was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2010.
Reflecting on his latest problem, Jeffrey stated: “I’m a doggy man, and I’m well aware of Dogs Trust and the valuable work it does. Dogs Trust is special to me because the charity takes in dogs that may have come from a pound, a dog warden or as strays. They look after those dogs, train them if necessary and do the best to find the perfect home for them.”
Emma Wakefield, rehoming centre supervisor at Dogs Trust Leeds, stated: “Jeffrey’s assist means the world to us, and the funds he has raised will go a good distance in offering a brighter future for the dogs in our care.”
