An animal rescuer from the charity was contacted us to a field in Solihull, where a piece of wood was put in the hole as a ramp to see if he might release himself.
It rapidly ended up being clear that he was securely stuck and in requirement of an assisting paw to bring him back onto strong ground.
Thankfully, after a couple of days of being kept track of and fed at a wildlife centre, he was securely launched back into the wild.
