Paul Sanderson runs Campions Hairdressing on Church Street and has simply celebrated his forty fifth 12 months on the business with colleagues and purchasers.
Paul, aged 60, began on the salon as a 15-year-old apprentice in 1978 when the business was generally known as Peppers.
On his 45 years of service, Paul stated: “I wasn’t originally going to go into hairdressing, but I decided to stop on at school and learn the skill.
“I have always enjoyed it and it is great to be working here. We are like a family. I could not have done this without Jo and the staff.
“I would like to thank all our clients for their continued support over the years.”

Paul was inundated with effectively needs and help from the community on reaching the milestone.
And workers members Jo Parkes, Karen Dunn, Katy Griffiths, Michelle Fahy, Lindsey Davies have been filled with reward for his or her long-serving boss.
Jo, who has labored on the salon for 25 years, stated: “I am proud to have worked alongside Paul at Campions.
“I have witnessed his hard work and dedication to all his clients – old and young – throughout the years.
“Many of his clients are now friends which makes a fun environment to work in.
“His experience and dedication to the hairdressing industry is admirable.
“All of us as colleagues are so proud to have worked alongside him.”
