The Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Road, Cumru Township, will hold a totally free adoption weekend from Friday, Aug. 11, through Sunday, Aug. 13. The adoption costs are being sponsored by Tom Schaeffer’s Camping and Travel Center Inc., Shoemakersville, in memory of the late Thomas and Mary Jane Schaeffer.
