Animal Rescue League of Berks County unveils new cellular adoption and clinic automobile

The Animal Rescue League of Berks County is hitting the street with a cellular pet adoption unit and clinic that can present vaccines and microchips to communities within the county.

The ARL on Saturday unveiled its new cellular unit, a 26-foot-long 2024 Ford E450. It has 18 built-in cages on board and 14 of these have a divider that may be eliminated to create seven giant cages, mentioned José Joel Delgado-Rivera, the ARL’s chief communications officer. The remaining 4 smaller cages might be used for kittens, rabbits or guinea pigs.
