A 12-year-old lady from Aberdeenshire has received two prizes on the twenty second Edition of the RSPCA Young Photographer Awards in London.
Eilidh Shannon, from Meikle Wartle, close to Inverurie, achieved third and second place within the pet portrait and cell phone classes.
The S1 pupil at Meldrum Academy submitted a portrait image of Maisie, her 8-year-old canine, surrounded by musical devices.
“Maisie always howls when we play instruments at home, so I thought I could capture that,” mentioned Eilidh, who performs the saxophone.
She was additionally recommended for her photograph of Squeaker, her grandad’s cat.
The young photographer mentioned: “I just saw the cat and she looked really nice, so I just got my mum’s phone and took a picture.”
