Weather and highway circumstances are enhancing! Thank you to our Facilities Management and Campus Security groups who labored so arduous to handle winter circumstances on campus at present.
We count on to re-open our campus on Thursday, Jan. 18. We’ll share updates at uvic.ca if our plans to re-open change as a result of evolving circumstances.
CARSA and McKinnon will open at 8 am on Jan. 18. Plan forward and be secure! Check individual unit web sites for his or her hours of operation.

Campus closed Jan 17 as a result of climate circumstances
Due to difficult climate circumstances and disrupted transportation within the area, the UVic campus closed at present at 12:30 p.m.
A campus closure as a result of snow is just not an emergency and a right away departure from campus is just not required. We encourage everybody on campus to take their time and wind down their in-person actions. Online courses and administrative actions being performed remotely will proceed.
During a campus closure tutorial and administrative features which can be available remotely will proceed. The closure solely applies to these actions that should happen on the bodily campus.
