Cops scuba divers and other emergency situation services continue to look for a missing out on teenage kid after a boating mishap on a Victorian lake near the NSW border.
One of 2 teenagers was rescued from the water after the set were tossed from a tinny on Lake Mulwala in Yarrawonga at 9am on Sunday.
It took place approximately 200m off the coast.
Senior Sergeant Nathan Ractliffe from Victoria Cops stated a “do-gooder” entered to help get one teenager back to coast after seeing them treading water.
However the other could not be discovered when he returned, stated.
” He was unfortunately not able to rescue the 2nd male,” Ractliffe stated.
He stated they are “working feverishly to find this male”.
Finder is being utilized in the search however Ractliffe stated weather were not beneficial.
The kid who was rescued is assisting cops.
