Good morning football fans

Sean Dyche is set to return to Premier League management after his dismissal from Burnley last season.

Dyche is set to be named as the new Everton boss and replace Frank Lampard, according to Sky Sports.

The Toffees have been looking for a head coach since they sacked Lampard on Sunday.

The Merseysiders held talks with Marcelo Bielsa and Dyche in London on Thursday but have ultimately decided to go with the latter.

Furthermore, Brighton star Moises Caicedo has issued a very enigmatic tweet suggesting he is leaving the club for a record fee amid interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Caicedo tweeted: “I am grateful to Mr. [Tony] Bloom and Brighton for giving me the chance to come to the Premier League and I feel I have always done my best for them. I always play football with a smile and with heart.

“I am the youngest of 10 siblings from a poor upbringing in Santa Domingo in Ecuador.

“My dream always to be the most decorated player in the history of Ecuador. I am proud to be able to bring in a record transfer fee for Brighton which would allow them to reinvest it and help the club continue to be successful.

“The fans have taken me into their hearts and they will always be in my heart so I hope they can understand why I want to take up this magnificent opportunity.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea have agreed a deal for Lyon star Malo Gusto ahead of transfer deadline day.

Gusto has impressed the Blues as well as Premier League rivals United since breaking through at the French giants.

The West Londoners had an £18million offer for the right-back rejected, and United asked the 19-year-old to hold off on a decision.

However, Chelsea pushed forward with a deal and according to RMC Sport, they struck a deal with Lyon that will see Gusto sign but remain in Ligue 1 until the end of the season.

This latest development comes after Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas said the Frenchman will remain at the club.

And Newcastle star Kieran Trippier has signed a contract extension that will keep him in Tyneside until 2025.

Trippier said: “I’m absolutely delighted that I’ve extended my contract here.

“I’ve got a lot of thank yous to make to the manager, owners, fans and my teammates.

“When I first arrived here, they made me feel so welcome and I want to help the club achieve great things.

“It’s a positive moment for us players in the club and there’s no place I’d rather be.”

Finally, Newcastle have also agreed a £45m deal for Everton star Anthony Gordon.

The Magpies have revived their interest having initially explored a deal during the summer.

The Toffees had been hoping to get a fee of around £60m for the winger.

But after the England Under-21 international missed training for the third day in a row, the Merseysiders are set to be forced to accept lower offers.

According to The Athletic, the Toon have agreed to pay £45m for the 21-year-old in one single payment after he submitted a transfer request.
