The first north London derby of the season was performed again in September and it definitely did not disappoint.
Arsenal bought off to a powerful begin and had been handed the lead by Cristian Romero when his failed clearance despatched Bukayo Saka’s curling effort into the underside nook.
Luckily, earlier than half time, he was bailed out by Son Heung-min who completed brilliantly after some glorious work from James Maddison.
Romero was the villain for Spurs once more within the second half when Ben White’s close-range shot struck his outstretched arm. Up stepped Saka, who made no mistake from 12 yards.
That lead lasted only a minute, although, as Maddison stole the ball from Jorginho effectively contained in the Arsenal half, teed up Son and he did the remainder with one other nice end.
Goals, drama and, in spite of everything that, a degree apiece.
