1. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai does a series of inaugurations today in Bengaluru, consisting of a train at Suranjandas Road. He will check train underpasses at Marathahalli and Kundanahalli. Then he takes a trip to Davanagere to inaugurate another set of developmental works.

From seaside Karnataka

1. Ravindranath Shanbhag, human rights and customer rights activist, provided Vishwa Konkani Puraskar to 6 Konkani achievers at World Konkani Centre in Mangaluru today at 10 a.m. The award brings a ₹1 lakh bag. T. V. Mohandas Pai, Chairman, Manipal Global Education, existed.
