On Monday, in a courtroom in New York, Donald Trump will turn out to be the primary ever sitting or former US president to face a prison trial.
As Hugo Lowell explains to Hannah Moore, it’s a case that revolves round alleged funds made to the grownup movie star Stormy Daniels within the run-up to the 2016 presidential election – and, as New York prosecutors argue, the makes an attempt by Trump and his marketing campaign crew to then cowl them up.
But after so many years of scandal, will this trial – or the opposite three Trump is because of face – have any impression on his probabilities at regaining the presidency in elections this November?
