City supervisor Ann Mitchell reveals self-confidence in Bohan’s capability to lead the recently formed department into the future and to advance council’s tactical concerns, support staff, and serve the neighborhood.
With advancement and facilities ending up being a single department, the city now has 4 departments: business services, advancement and facilities, energy, land and environment, and civil services.
Corporate services will continue to be led by handling director Dennis Egert, and Brian Stauth will continue to lead civil services. The energy, land and environment department is now headed by handling director Rochelle Pancoast, who was head of the previous tactical management and analysis department.
Pancoast says substantial work is needed to attend to the energy shift that is facing this neighborhood and general market as a whole.
“This new structure allows us to focus on the city’s core energy functions within one division while also advancing the city’s land and environmental efforts, she says. “I look forward to collaborating with our team and industry experts to position the city favourably in this time of energy transition.”
