The first-ever deliberate daytime closure of the M25 this weekend may develop into a ‘nightmare’, with native residents and businesses braced for ‘carmageddon’ site visitors.

A five-mile stretch of the motorway between junctions 10 and 11 is now shut in each instructions and can stay inaccessible till 6am on Monday whereas a bridge is demolished and new gantry put in.
