LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes have claimed a participant from Quebec on waivers.
Swiss-born ahead Leo Braillard was placed on waivers by the Shawinigan Cataractes, leaving him free to be claimed by all different Canadian Hockey League (CHL) groups. Braillard was the Cataractes first-round choice within the 2022 CHL Import Draft.
The 18-year-old is in his second CHL season, and has put up two targets and two assists in seven video games for the Cataractes this yr. In 48 complete video games in Shawinigan, Braillard has 10 targets and 16 assists for 26 factors.
The 5’10, 172-pound ahead appeared in 16 video games with the Biel-Bienne U20-Elit workforce in Switzerland gathering 19 factors within the 2022-23 season earlier than making his approach to Canada.
