‘Disaster if Arteta quits for Barca’
Arsenal legend David Seaman believes it could be a “catastrophe” for the Gunners if boss Mikel Arteta left to take over Barcelona.
The ex-England keeper reckons the Gunners are ever bettering below the Spaniard.
He informed his Parimatch-sponsored podcast Seaman Says: “He’s building and building and it is getting higher, and I actually assume it might be a catastrophe for Arsenal if he was to depart the membership for Barcelona.
“It would not be a catastrophe for Mikel Arteta personally… When you are occurring to a membership like Barcelona, that is an unimaginable alternative.”
But Seaman added: “I completely don’t need him to go! He’s getting in the proper course each season, so I need him to remain.
“To be honest to him, he is come out and stated on Monday in his press convention that he is not desirous about leaving for Barcelona.
“He stated that as he works at Arsenal. But that is like the usual reply for managers to present, isn’t it, whether or not he is going or not!”
