The global crypto market fell 0.71 per cent to $792.07 billion amid losses across cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), in the last 24 hours to Friday evening. Polygon (MATIC) was the most trending crypto.
The overall trading volume decreased by 7.82 per cent to $26.77 billion, according to Coinmarketcap.com at 5:30 pm IST.
Today’s top gainer is the OKB crypto, which rose by 3.84 per cent to $25.09. Whereas Chain (XCN) was the top loser which dropped by 11.36 per cent in the last 24 hours.
Cryptocurrency Prices
Bitcoin: BTC’s price fell by 0.53 per cent to $16,506. Its market cap stood at 317.61 billion.
BTC’s trade was highly volatile today, and although it started the day with gains, it fell into the red later. Its 24-hour trading volume decreased by 12.20 per cent to $14,132,058,035 billion. Its lowest price for the day was $16,475.
Ethereum: The price of Ethereum dropped 0.71 per cent to $1,191.27. ETH was trading mostly in red today; however, it was briefly up around 6 am.
ETH’s dominance today was 18.4 percent. Its trading volume was down by 15.51 per cent to $4,007,662,287 billion.
Other Altcoins
Solana’s (SOL) price fell by 3.17 percent to $9.16.
Ripple (XRP) was down by 2.12 per cent to $0.3377, and its 24-hour trading volume was down by 14.17 per cent to $740,754,668.
Cardano (ADA) fell 1.74 per cent to $0.2413. Cardano’s 24-hour trading volume decreased by 8.42 per cent to $184.28 million.
Meme Coins
Dogecoin (DOGE) dropped 4.54 per cent to $0.06758. Its 24-hour trading volume rose 16.13 per cent to $378,954,569.
Shiba Inu is up by 0.66 per cent to $0.000007992.
Decentralised Finance (DeFi)
Yearn.Finance (YFI) dipped by 2.52 per cent to $5,085.23. Its 24-hour trading volume was down by 15.31 per cent to $15.05 million.
Avalanche (AVAX) fell by 4.15 per cent to $10.68., and its 24-hour trading volume rose by 23.20 per cent to $128,742,117.
Aave (AAVE) was down by 1.89 per cent at $53.38, and its 24-hour trading volume rose by 5.28 per cent to $40,006,159.
