Fort Macleod Emergency Department to quickly shut

FORT MACLEOD, AB – The Emergency Department (ED) on the Fort Macleod Health Centre is ready to quickly shut.

The ED will probably be closed quickly beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2023. The division will re-open at 8 a.m. on Friday, September 8 to offer 24-hour service.

During the closure, nursing employees will keep on web site to offer take care of long-term care residents.

Patients are requested to name 911 if they’ve a medical emergency. EMS calls will probably be re-routed to Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge.
