WATERTON, AB – On June 12, Parks Canada revealed that substantial rain over the weekend led to the closure of a bulk of Waterton Lakes National Park up until more notification.
According to Parks Canada, over 55 millimeters of rain on June 11 triggered particles to stream, which affected numerous locations and roadways.
During this time, leisure travel to Waterton is prevented to permit reaction operations to occur.
