NEW YORK (AP) — Calgary Flames ahead Andrew Mangiapane was suspended for one sport with out pay by the NHL Sunday for cross-checking Seattle Kraken ahead Jared McCann on Saturday night time.
Mangiapane was assessed a match penalty halfway via the primary interval within the Flames’ 6-3 victory in Seattle. The suspension will cost Mangiapane $30,208.
McCann was down when Mangiapane cross-checked his head into the ice. After a quick break, McCann returned to the sport.
