Local residents can count on to see troopers round city.
The Canadian Army Reserve items are coaching in Northern Ontario on Feb. 15, Feb. 22 and March 22. They’ll be in Timmins at Hersey Lake Conservation Area, North Bay’s Laurier Woods Conservation Area, and in Sudbury at Kivi Park and Crowley Lake Outpost.
Most of the 33 Canadian Brigade Group’s Northern Tactical Group coaching will occur through the night hours. The group consists of troopers from the Algonquin Regiment in Timmins and North Bay, and the Irish Regiment of Canada in Sudbury.
While individuals may even see troopers in uniform with service weapons and army autos, no ammunition will probably be current.
