Community Integrated Care appoints new Chief Financial Officer

ONE of the UK’s main care and help charities, Community Integrated Care, has not too long ago introduced the appointment of Tom Gibbs as Chief Financial Officer.  

Tom joins Community Integrated Care from National Trust, Europe’s largest conservation charity, the place he’s presently Finance Director.

Prior to this, Tom’s expertise consists of six years at Barnardo’s youngsters’s charity, holding a variety of senior roles overlaying Business Transformation, Technology, Audit and Risk, and overseeing the design and supply of key strategic initiatives. He can also be a Trustee and Treasurer on the meals financial institution charity, The Trussell Trust.

Tom will step into his new position at Community Integrated Care in April 2024, taking the reins from Interim Chief Financial Officer, Stephen Perry, who will stay in publish till Tom’s arrival.

On his appointment, Tom commented:

“Over the past few years, the charity has achieved so much, exploring innovative investments and strategies to best support colleagues and the people they support, despite the challenging financial landscape faced by the sector. The leadership team and Board of Trustees have bold and ambitious plans for the future, and I’m thrilled to be a part of this. I’m looking forward to getting started in April, meeting as many more colleagues as possible and witnessing the charity’s life-changing impact in action.”
