Ronnie is a 1-2 year old male Bulldog. He is looking for a home. He’s stunning and such a fab character.

Ronnie’s lived with children from babies upwards with absolutely no issues other than his tendency to forget his size and skittle them over!

Ronnie’s lived with another dog in a previous home with no issues but he and the other dog in his current home have had a couple of fights so he may be best initially as an only dog or with a mature, calm female.

Ronnie’s nervous initially about new people (as so many young dogs are since lockdown) but soon comes around and when I assessed him he quickly decided I was his friend.

Ronnie is a lovely young lad who will make a fab addition to the right home. He needs a home with experience of the breed or similar that will help with his socialisation with people and dogs and where he won’t be left for more than a few hours at a time initially.

Ronnie travels well, walks well on his lead and is housetrained. He does bark when people he doesn’t know come into the house but again this can be worked on.

Ronnie’s vaccinated and chipped and will be neutered when we get him into his new home as the vet recommended waiting til he was 18 months due to his nervousness.

Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to us in South Yorkshire. As always we require everyone in the family and any children who are regularly going to be in contact with the dog to attend the meet.

Our usual process is that you will need to come and meet the dog and that adoption is then done on a second meet.

JLP Trust Animal Rescue is a foster based rescue in South Yorkshire (Rotherham and the surrounding areas) and we offer help to animals who need us to find them a new home for whatever the reason.

Sadly many animals, especially in the South Yorkshire area, find themselves needing a new home, abandoned or neglected through no fault of their own. We try to help as many of these as possible through providing help with rehoming, foster homes and help to owners wherever possible to ensure that the animals remain safe, looked after and loved until a new forever home can be found.

For every animal we help we provide homechecks, vaccination, neutering and microchipping and lifetime back up if anything should go wrong in their new home.
