May has spoiled us for bank holidays this year and today (May 27) starts our third and final three-day weekend.
There are a host of activities you can get up to Oxford this weekend but we have compiled a list of some of the things you can get up to.

Oxford University Tortoise Fair
The Tortoise Fair is one of Oxford University’s most anticipated events.
Several Oxford colleges have their own tortoise pets and this race gives them a chance to battle it out against each other.
The event date back to about forty years ago with many competitors returning each year, with tortoises living between 50 and 100 years!
The race is at Corpus Christi College with doors opening at midday. Tickets are required.
Andrew O’Neill’s Dead Leg Comedy Club
For a night of laughs, head down to the Old Fire Station as cult comedian Andrew O’Neill holds a night of alternative comedy.
Mark Thomas, Bec Hill and Mark Silcox are among the comedians that will perform at Dead Leg Comedy Club.
This is for adults only. The event is on Sunday (May 28) at 7:30pm. Standard tickets cost £15.
FUNomusica’s Pirates Ahoy!

The afternoon starts off with nautical crafting activities at 2pm before the concert starts at 3pm, with interactive sea shanties, led by Cap’n Alasdair ‘Awesome Al’ Malloy alongside the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra.
It is aimed at ages 4 to 8 but is guaranteed to provide relaxed fun for the whole family.
The show is at Oxford Town Hall on Sun (May 28). Tickets cost £10 for adults and £4 for children.
Bug handling at the Story Museum
The Story Museum has launched a new exhibition this week named Brilli-ANT.
A description on their website reads: “Explore the mini beasts which inspired our new exhibition Brilli-ANT! in this amazing bug handling session with Chris’s Animal Encounters.”
The sessions are being hosted on Saturday (May 27) and Tuesday (May 30). Tickets cost £5.
Pride Picnic in The Parks
Bring your own picnic and enjoy some fun and games in the park on Monday (May 29).
To mark 20 years of Pride, Oxford Pride are hosting a range of activities.
An event description says to expect tug of war with Fire and Rescue Service, unicorn racing and handbag throwing.
The picnic will be hosted at University Parks from 1pm to 5pm and is free to enter.
