BRAND-NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Andrew Michael Harakal, 64, of New Castle, Pa., previously of Hartford, died suddenly at his residence, Monday, April 3, 2023.
Born March 23, 1959, in Sharon, Pa., he was the boy of Thomas A. Harakal and Betty Maybee Loyd. His dad preceded him in death and his mom endures in Deerfield Beach, Fla.
Andrew was a graduate of both Hartford High School in Hartford, and Youngstown State University.
He worked as a car inspector for various insurance provider. Early in his profession he had a love for cooking and worked for a number of dining establishments. He was likewise a professional and operated in building and construction in Florida.
Andrew was a long-lasting Episcopalian and a previous member of St John Episcopal Church in Sharon, Pa. He was a devoted sports fan, particularly baseball, and likewise had a love of animals and their care.
In addition to his mom, he is made it through by a sis, Stacey Takash of Masury; 2 bros, Matthew Harakal of Paoli, Ind., and Thomas Harakal of Cambridge, Mass.; loved one, Marcie Knapp of New Castle, Pa.; and aunties, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Andrew was preceded in death by his dad; and a sis, Melissa Moore.
An event time will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 2023, in the lounge at St. John Episcopal Church, 226 W. State St., Sharon, PA 16146. A funeral will occur at 11 a.m. Thursday, in the church, with the Rev. Adam Trambley officiating.
Burial will follow in Westside Cemetery.
