A big snake wriggled onto the cricket premises of a Lanka Premier League video game in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on Monday, bringing a short-term time out to the video game as bemused gamers and viewers searched.
The reptile, thought to be a non-venomous ptyas mucosa maximus or rat snake, disrupted a video game in between Galle Titans and the Dambulla Aura.
“Oh gosh look at that, one thing that frightens me, I just don’t want to be anywhere close,” an analyst was heard stating.
Wildlife authorities were hired to move the snake back to its natural environment and play resumed after that.
