See, touch, and find out about snakes! MDWFP’s Mississippi Museum of Natural Science will host “World Snake Day” on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. “At World Snake Day, you can see and touch live snakes, learn the value of Mississippi’s native snakes, and learn how to distinguish venomous snakes from non-venomous snakes,” describes Museum Director Charles Knight.
Museum teachers and research study researchers will be on website with live snakes to address your concerns about them. Crafts and academic activities about snakes will be continuous from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
