A colossal snake courting again thousands and thousands of years in the past may’ve been longer than a faculty bus or T-Rex — and can doubtless be recorded as one of many longest slithering reptiles to ever roam the Earth, researchers revealed Thursday.

The newly confirmed snake is analogous in measurement to the biggest recognized snake, referred to as Titanoboa, which was roughly 42 ft and lived in what’s now Colombia 60 million years in the past.
