During the yearly Carver Prairie BioBlitz on June 3-4, an unusual discovery was made.
Right at sundown, Missouri Prairie Foundation Vice President for Science and Management, Bruce Schuette, discovered a Graham’s crayfish snake.
Graham’s crayfish snake is a types of nonvenomous semiaquatic snake.
It is still unidentified if this was the very first time that this types has actually been tape-recorded in Newton County.
