A child snake which was discovered hiding in a Suffolk backyard has died.
Lewis Marshall discovered the reptile in Needham Market and at first believed it was a grass snake or adder.
“I noticed it within the backyard, it was very small – solely round 12 inches lengthy,” he stated.
It was later confirmed it was a child corn snake, a species whose pure habitat is greater than 4,000 miles away within the United States.
It is believed the corn snake was an escaped pet so Amber Rose Boddy took it in till the proprietor was discovered.

“Despite them being exterior for who is aware of how lengthy, they appear to be comparatively wholesome and may be very pleasant,” she stated in a submit on social media.
However, lower than a day later Amber up to date the submit saying the corn snake had died.
“Unfortunately, the snake has handed away in a single day.
“We do not know if there have been any underlying situations or if it simply succumbed to its time exterior.
“Thank you to everybody who confirmed care and consideration to the little love.”
