FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. — A Floyd County female is dealing with animal cruelty charges after her home was condemned.
According to cops reports, Constance Elinor Grissett is charged with exacerbated cruelty to animals and 4 counts of cruelty to animals.
Investigators state they discovered 4 dogs living in “deplorable conditions” inside her home.

They state the home was covered in urine, feces and rats. The house was later on condemned due to the fact that of how “unlivable” it was.
Authorities state they discovered a dead grownup dog in Grissett’s bed.

Grissett informed detectives that she saw the dog have a seizure and begin a lot bleeding up until he passed away. She did not look for any medical attention.
She is presently being kept in the Floyd County Detention Center.
