WAYNE, PA —The White Dog Cafe and WMMR’s Preston and Steve plant to host the Sixth Annual Dining Out for the Dogs at 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21.
Proceeds will benefit Alpha Bravo Canine, a non-profit that contributes service dogs to veterans struggling with disabling medical and mental issues as an outcome of their active fight responsibility.

The fundraising events are at White Dog Cafe areas in Wayne, Haverford and Glen Mills.
Owner Marty Grims said the average cost for a puppy to train is $30,000 depending upon the special needs, keeping in mind that Alpha Bravo Canine does not charge veterans for the training or the dog.
“We hope the community will come out and dine for this wonderful cause.”
Grims said that over the previous 3 years, the Dining Out for the Dogs occasion has actually raised $150,000.
