The hottest canine breed has been chosen.

On Mar. 20, the American Kennel Club (AKC), the world’s largest purebred canine registry, introduced America’s hottest canine breed for the previous 12 months.

According to the nonprofit, the French bulldog is the most well-liked canine breed for the second consecutive 12 months.

The AKC determines which canine earns the title by reviewing its registration statistics, noting which canine breeds are gaining probably the most registered members.

The Labrador retriever took the second-place spot. Before the French Bulldog won the most popular position for two years, the Labrador retriever was the AKC’s hottest breed for 31 years.
