The yearly seasonal limitations on Torbay beaches enter into impact on first May.
Restricting dogs on Torbay’s primary beaches throughout the summertime makes it possible for homeowners and visitors to shower securely and is a requirement for those beaches with Blue Flag status, in addition to making it possible for Torbay to keep its ‘excellent water quality’ ranking, provided by the Environment Agency.
Here are the beaches that you can still check out:
Ansteys Cove
Babbacombe Beach
Beacon Cove
Chuston Cove
Elberry Cove
Fairy Cove
Fishcombe Cove
Goodrington Sands – North Sands
Livermead Sands
Maidencombe Beach
Meadfoot Beach – North Eastern part of the beach
Oyster Cove
Peaked Tor Cove
Saltern Cove
Shoalstone Beach
St Marys Bay

The limitations began on first May and will stay in location up until 30th September.
All dog owners or walkers are advised that they are accountable for the control of their animal at all times, in addition to getting after their dog to guarantee all locations of Torbay stay safe and tidy.
