Three Guinea pigs were left abandoned in a family pet provider in Edinburgh triggering an examination by animal well-being officers.
The animals were found on August 3 around 8am by a dog-walker on Corstorphine Hill.
The Scottish SPCA was contacted us to the scene and the animals were taken into care.
