Petaluma policeman released Tasers Tuesday while attempting to stop a dog after it bit a regional citizen and ran loose in a neighborhood.
Just prior to 3:30 p.m., officers went to the 1200 block of San Rafael Drive for an “aggressive dog” that bit a homeowner, according to the Petaluma Police Department.
According to authorities, 2 officers were attempting to examine the victim when the dog charged them and the tasers were released.
The dog pulled back to a lawn in the location and officers kept it there up until its owner showed up.
A Nixle alert headed out recommending individuals in the instant location to shelter in location while the dog was protected.
The victim was gotten rid of from the scene and required to a regional health center for moderate injuries.
North Bay Animal Services was employed to perform an examination and the dog will be quarantined for 10 days, according to the Police Department.
