NUTLEY, NJ — More internet-based criminal activities have actually been reported in Nutley, cops state.

According to the Nutley Police Department, the following occurrences just recently occurred in the municipality on July 16:

SNAPCHAT EXTORTION – A 27-year-old Nutley man reported that he was obtained after he exchanged “illicit photos” with a female on Snapchat. After he sent the pictures, the individual sent him pictures of his other accounts and threatened to send them to all of his contacts if the victim didn’t send her $700. The victim later on sent codes to the unidentified lady and reported the occurrence to the cops, authorities said.

DOG SCAMS – A Nutley man attempting to acquire a dog from a website was informed he required to send out 2 payments amounting to $1,180 to a Zelle account. After sending out the money, he was expected to receive pictures of the dog and guidelines, however the celebration on the other end declared that they never ever got the payments. They stopped reacting to his ask for more info, cops said.
