Vicious dog

• At roughly 7:45 a.m. on Aug. 2 there was a report that a dog assaulted another dog in the 1400 block of Northwest Airport Road at some point over night.

Hit-and-run

• A hit-and-run was reported in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at roughly 10:15 a.m. on Aug. 2.

• A four-vehicle, non-injury accident was reported at the crossway of Northwest Chamber of Commerce Way and Northwest State Avenue at 3:25 p.m. on Aug. 2. The at-fault driver apparently left the scene northbound on Interstate 5.

Criminal trespass

• A topic was mentioned for trespassing after he supposedly attempted to go into an uninhabited house in the 1400 block of Southwest Kelly Avenue simply after 10:50 a.m. on Aug. 2.

• A group of topics were moved along from a parking area in the 200 block of North Market Boulevard simply after 1:45 p.m. on Aug. 2.

• At 2:10 p.m. on Aug. 2, a caller in the 700 block of Southwest William Avenue reported a continuous issue with a friend of her departed hubby consistently coming by to do work around her house unwanted.

• A male topic was mentioned for trespassing in the 1500 block of North National Avenue right before 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 2.

Malicious mischief

• Just after 12:15 p.m. on Aug. 2, a caller reported somebody strolled through her field in the 500 block of Southwest Riverside Drive and slashed the tires on her tractor.

Disorderly conduct

• A male topic was moved along from a business in the 100 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue simply after 1:20 p.m. on Aug. 2 after he was apparently “bothering customers” and declining to leave.

Theft

• A case of possible theft was reported in the 800 block of Northwest St. Helens Avenue simply after 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 2.

• A case of vehicle theft reported in the 1200 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue simply after 7:20 p.m. on Aug. 3 is under examination.

Indecent direct exposure

• Just after 3:25 p.m. on Aug. 2, a caller who was enjoying a live feed of railway tracks in the 300 block of Northwest State Avenue reported seeing a “male hanging off the train on the west side with no clothes on.”

CENTRALIA AUTHORITIES DEPARTMENT

Disorderly conduct

• Just prior to 8:35 a.m. on Aug. 2, there was a report of a disorderly homeless man “who was screaming and threatening to kill persons who were not present” in the 300 block of North Gold Street.

Criminal trespass

• Several homeless individuals were apparently establishing camp and littering in a street behind a business in the 600 block of North Tower Avenue. The topics were provided spoken cautions for outdoor camping in the street and littering.

• Per the homeowner’s demand, numerous homeless individuals were trespassed from personal property in the 100 block of East Maple Street simply after 1:15 p.m. on Aug. 2.

• Two topics discovered outdoor camping on personal effects in the 1100 block of Eckerson Road at roughly 3:55 p.m. on Aug. 2 were trespassed from the location. One topic was mentioned for an unassociated Centralia Municipal Court warrant.

• Two homeless individuals were apparently outdoor camping in a street behind a business in the 600 block of North Tower Avenue simply after 10:25 p.m. on Aug. 2. The topics were provided a spoken caution.

• A homeless individual was apparently trespassing on personal effects in the 300 block of West Fourth Street right before 4:05 p.m. on Aug. 3.

Theft

• A theft including the unapproved digital transfer of funds was reported in the 1700 block of Harrison Avenue right before 10:35 a.m. on Aug. 2.

• An gain access to gadget was reported taken from the 300 block of South Silver Street simply after 11:15 a.m. on Aug. 2. The case is under examination.

• Just after 1:20 p.m. on Aug. 3, a vehicle prowl that took place in the 100 block of West Summa Street at some point over night was reported.

• At 3:35 p.m. on Aug. 3, an officer was dispatched to a report of a theft in the 100 block of South Silver Street including a juvenile who tried to acquire drugs from a homeless individual. The homeless individual took a part of the juvenile’s money. The officer was notified throughout the preliminary examination that the juvenile obtained the money fraudulently.

Assault

• A 30-year-old Centralia man was detained in the 1100 block of Scammon Creek Road simply after 12:55 p.m. on Aug. 2 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for fourth-degree attack, domestic violence.

Vehicle mishaps

• A non-injury, two-vehicle accident was reported on personal property in the 1000 block of Belmont Avenue simply after 12:05 p.m. on Aug. 3.

• A non-injury, two-vehicle accident was reported in the 800 block of Harrison Avenue right before 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 3.

• A non-injury, two-vehicle accident was reported on personal property in the 500 block of South Tower Avenue right before 3:10 p.m. on Aug. 3.

Recovered vehicle

• A 41-year-old Tumwater man was detained in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue right before 5:10 p.m. on Aug. 3 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for belongings of a taken vehicle after officers situated him with a U-Haul that was reported taken out of Chehalis. The vehicle informed the Flock Safety electronic camera system and officers found the vehicle at a regional filling station, according to the Centralia Police Department.

LEWIS COUNTY PRISON STATS

As of Friday early morning, the Lewis County Jail had an overall system population of 147 prisoners, consisting of 134 in the basic population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of basic population prisoners, 101 were reported male and 33 were reported female. Of the WERC prisoners, 11 were reported male and 2 were reported female.
