Milo
Bichon Frise
5-7 years
Here’s what Milo’s carers say: “Milo will need an adult only home with few visitors and no visiting children. Milo is social with other dogs and could potentially live with a calmer well matched dog. His new family will need to be committed to visiting the centre a couple of times a week to build a relationship with Milo and really get to know his cheeky personality, they will also need to be happy to continue his ongoing training in his new home and attend some training sessions here at the centre with our training and behaviour team. Milo isn’t suited to live in an open plan house and his new family may need to make some adjustments to help Milo settle in. Milo’s medical history will be discussed with new owners over the phone/at the centre.”
Moose
Crossbreed
2-5 years
Here’s what Moose’s carers say: “Moose is an amazing boy who is looking for a really active home with people with an interest in training, and experience with GSD’s, lurchers or other large breeds. He is looking for an adult only home with minimal visitors while he settles in. Moose can get quite uncomfortable for intense veterinary handling and does need to wear a muzzle when he sees the vet. He is also learning how to wear his muzzle while out on a walk as he can be worried meeting some new people. Access to quiet walking areas would be beneficial, and a secure garden is a must for zoomies and sunbathing! Since coming into us Moose’s dog to dog skills have massively improved and he could live with another, confident similar size dog after a successful meet at the centre (as long as they can tolerate his OTT play style!). Potential new adopters will need to be able to commit to multiple visits with Moose to get to know him, and have some sessions with our training team and his favourite carers to learn all about his ongoing training.”
Cassie
Border collie

Here’s what Cassie’s carers say: “Cassie is a sweet little lady who finds the world a very scary place. She’s looking for a forever family who can give her all the time she needs to find her paws. This will need to be a quiet adult only home, without too many visitors. She’d love have her own safe space to hide away in when she’s feeling overwhelmed and a comfy cosy bed is a must in there! Cassie does like to share her walkies with other dogs and can get some confidence from them however she’d like her new home all to herself. Cassie can find loud and sudden noises very scary. She would like her own secure garden when she can safely explore at her own pace – this will need at least 6ft fencing as she has shown herself to be a bit of a Houdini at times! Cassie has spent a short time in a home environment, where she was okay being left for a few hours however this will need gradually building up once she’s settled in her forever home and she will need some help with her housetraining too. Cassie would flourish in a patient and quiet home who don’t expect too much from her and are happy to take things at her pace.”
Jarvis
Labrador Retriever cross

Here’s what Jarvis’s carers say: “Jarvis is a beautiful lad, looking for a home who can keep up with him. He is an active lad who loves going on his adventures but also enjoys games to keep him mentally stimulated too! Jarvis could live with a large playful dog as long as they are tolerant of his boisterous playstyle. Jarvis has previously lived in a home for a short period of time, he struggled to be left alone and will need his new guardians to be around for most of the day and help him feel comfortable relaxing on his own. Jarvis does have a sensitive side and can come across as more confident than how he appears- his new guardians will need to visit the centre a couple of times before taking him home, just so he can show off all the things he has been learning and you can work alongside our behaviour team. He would like a home with his own secure garden where he can play his favourite games with you and continue any ongoing training. Jarvis is looking for an adult only home.”
Teddy
Yorkshire Terrier cross

Here’s what Teddy’s carers say: “Teddy will need his new family to come and visit him a few times to build a bond and learn all about his ongoing training. He is also looking for a hands off approach while he settles in, and is looking for a very understanding adult only home where he can be given lots of time and space to settle. He gets quite overwhelmed around intense handling and grooming and is currently learning how to wear a muzzle in return for a tasty treat! Teddy has previously shown resource guarding behaviour so will need a new home where this behaviour can be managed, and is undergoing crate training to help with this! Teddy is looking for a home as the only dog, but does enjoy going for walks with calm doggy friends. Teddy will need his own garden to zoom around in without the pressure of being handled. Potential owners need to live within 1 hour of the centre.”

Here’s what Narah’s carers say: “Narah is currently living off site in a foster home as she finds the hustle and bustle of centre life a little overwhelming. She loves the peace and quiet and sunbathing in her garden so would like her own secure garden to play and lounge around in! Unfortunately Narah finds herself in a pickle when she sees other dogs out and about so would prefer access to quiet walkies and would like no doggy neighbours. She’d love if her furever family could get her a secure field to zoom around in safely! Narah adores people and will always lean into you for fuss and cuddles, she follows her foster carers everywhere and loves to have company. For this reason Narah would like a home where she wont be left on her own as she becomes quite distressed, but she loves going on car journeys! She has met young children but can get a little bit excited and sometimes doesn’t quite realise her size so for this reason would be better suited to older children who are confident around bigger bouncy dogs. Narah loves food and loves nothing more than curling up by the fire with a tasty chew after a day of watching the world go by in the garden!”
Noah
Greyhound

Here’s what Noah’s carers say: “Noah is a beautiful, timid boy who would prefer a quiet adult only home with few visitors- when he is feeling overwhelmed he may also like a safe space to go to filled with comfy bedding and his favourite things to do. Noah doesn’t always like to share his space and would prefer a home where he can chill out when he is resting. Noah would like to be the only dog in the home but could have walking friends when out and about. He loves going on sniffy walks in quieter areas where he won’t bump into too many people and does wear a Greyhound muzzle while he’s out and about. Noah’s new family will need to come and meet him a few times to build a bond before he goes home.”
