TEMPE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) — A dog owner is breathing a sigh of relief after being reunited with her puppy, who was taken recently. On Tuesday, Tempe cops verified that Lani, a French bulldog and experienced service dog, was discovered and back with her owner.
The look for Lani started when she was apparently drawn from a room at the Double Tree Hotel in Tempe on July 26. Lani’s owner, Andrea Albornoz, said she was going to the Valley from Los Angeles to go to a conference and didn’t understand that the door to her hotel room wasn’t entirely shut when she went to get coffee. Once Albornoz went back to her room, Lani was gone.
The one-and-a-half-year-old service dog assists discover Albornoz’s seizures. “All I want is my dog back. Please just become passionate because this is a life-saving service animal, and we need her back,” Albornoz informed Arizona’s Family while giving out leaflets for her missing puppy on July 28. She was using a $20,000 benefit for Lani’s safe return.
Tempe cops have actually not said if a suspect was apprehended, who was associated with taking Lani, or how the dog was returned.
