Panaji, Aug 3 (IANS): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday took a set of 4 months old Jack Russell Terriers, male and female dogs, from Goa based company ‘Shade’s Kennel’.
Rahul, who got here in Goa on Wednesday night, went to the ‘Shade’s Kennel’ in Mapusa, North district and bought 2 puppies.
Sources notified that he had actually specifically concerned Goa to take these dogs, breed of which is available with ‘Shade’s Kennel’.
Speaking to IANS, Sharvani Pitre of ‘Shade’s Kennel’ said that workplace of Rahul Gandhi had actually called them asking about the dogs, and on Thursday all of a sudden he came and took them.
“He wanted (these dogs) best available In India. We have introduced this breed in India. Bollywood stars have taken from us, wherever you see it in India it is supplied by us,” she said.
She said that it is a hunting breed and likewise a smart breed. “It is a small breed but intelligent,” she said.
