Police in Philadelphia are investigating after a canine attacked one other canine and killed it final week within the West Oak Lane part of the town, officers stated.

Last Wednesday, an officer responded to a name in regards to the canine attack simply after 8 a.m. on the 2100 block of Eastburn Avenue, police stated.

Once on the scene, the officer noticed {that a} Pitbull was attacking a Pomeranian on the sidewalk, in keeping with officers. The proprietor of the pitbull had tried to cease the attack, however was not profitable.

The officer used her taser twice to attempt to cease the attack, but it surely did not work, officers stated. She then fired three rounds from her weapon which did cease the attack.
